Jim Dolbear ist Pr\u00e4sident der Elixxir Corp., die die Elixxir-Blockchain-Plattform von David Chaum entwickelt hat. Au\u00dferdem gr\u00fcndete er zusammen mit Chaum und dem Information Sciences Institute der USC das Voting Systems Institute und war Partner des Perspectiva Fund, der sich auf die Entwicklung und Nutzung bahnbrechender optischer und Augmented-Reality-Technologien konzentriert. Zuvor leitete er eine 20-k\u00f6pfige Personalberatungsfirma, die Larkin Group, die sich auf die aufstrebenden neuen Medien und die Internetbranche konzentrierte. Zusammen mit dem damaligen B\u00fcrgermeister Richard Riordan gr\u00fcndete er den Digital Coast Roundtable und leitete LAWNMOWER, ein Messe- und Verlagsunternehmen, das Veranstaltungen in Los Angeles, New York und San Francisco durchf\u00fchrte. Zu seinen Kunden geh\u00f6rten Webex, Sun Microsystems, IAC, Microsoft, Activision, Harcourt Brace, Cisco, Exodus, Warner Brothers und die Fox Internet Group.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

Er war Technologieberater des Staates Kalifornien und sa\u00df im Beirat des Integrated Media Systems Center der USC, einem NSF-Forschungszentrum. Dolbear arbeitete im Bereich Projektfinanzierung und Mergers & Acquisitions bei den New Yorker Investmentbanken Lehman Brothers und Morgan Stanley. Er arbeitete auch im Bereich Corporate Finance und Kostenrechnung bei der Avery Dennison Corporation, wo er eine Weltklasse-Produktionsimplementierung leitete, die eine finanzielle Auswirkung hatte, die signifikant genug war, um eine erl\u00e4uternde Fu\u00dfnote im Avery-Jahresbericht zu rechtfertigen.
